<![CDATA[Mill Creek West all News Posts]]> http://www.millcreekwest.org en Thu, 17 May 2012 03:13:04 GMTMill Creek West all News Postshttp://www.millcreekwest.org<![CDATA[Amendment to the MCWNA Approved at Annual Meeting]]> Per the advance notice in the 2012 spring newsletter, there was a proposal to amend the MCWNA By-Laws at the annual meeting.  The proposal suggested extending or removing the term limits for board positions and reflects the real challenge of recruiting new board members as this is the association's tenth year in existence. 

Don Gotcher made the motion to remove the term limits.  The motion was seconded by Tom Williams and agreed to unanimously by all members present at the meeting.

Sunday, April 29th from 3 to 5 pm. 

This year the picnic will again be held in the backyard at 3227 River Bend.  Please come out to meet your neighbors and enjoy some grilled hot dogs.  Attendees should bring drinks and chairs for yourself and a desert or chips to share.  Many thanks to Don and Shirley Gotcher for volunteering their spacious and shady back yard.

  • Via credit card

    • You can pay your association dues quarterly or in a single payment via our website. To pay your dues online via credit card simply select the Online Dues Payment tab from the main menu on this website.  From there, select the annual dues or quarterly payment option and add to the cart.  The paypal process will walk you through collecting the payment information and transfer the amount to the association account.  You do not need to have a paypal account to use this process.  We will send you a confirmation email upon receipt of payment.

    The quarterly plan does not automatically bill.  We will send out reminder emails to those who select this option each quarter.

    To mail your dues, please send them to MCWNA at PO Box 54314, Hurst, TX 76054.

    1. Drop off

    You can drop off your dues payment anytime at 3213 River Bend or bring it to the annual meeting /picnic which will be held from 3-5pm on Sunday April 29th at 3227 River Bend Drive.

    Last year we collected association dues from over 20 households via this process.  There is a small transaction fee of around $3 per payment that slightly reduces the amount we receive, but the flexibility of this payment option has been strongly appreciated by many.

    ]]>    Sun, 17 Apr 2011 22:25:00 GMT    <![CDATA[New Quarterly Payment Option for Association Dues]]> The MCWNA board has approved a new option for homeowners who are supportive of our efforts to maintain the appearance of the neighborhood, yet find it difficult to contribute $120 in a single payment.  To address this concern, we now have setup a quarterly payment of only $30 via the website.

    To start your quarterly payments now, please click on the Online Dues Payment tab at the top of the site.  The website does not offer the ability to rebill each quarter, but we will provide an email reminder.

To submit your dues online, go to the Online Dues Payment tab on the main page.  From here you can pay your annual dues online via credit card processed by PayPal.  You do not need a PayPal account, but you must have a login for MillCreekWest.org and be logged into our site to complete the transaction.

    I wanted to make you aware that there will be a Crime Control District, Anti-Crime-Half Cent Sales Tax Continuation Election held on Saturday, May 8th from 7am to 7pm at Brookside Community Center, 1244 Brookside Drive.  Early voting will take place from April 26th through May 4th. 

    If, as a group, you would like to set up some evening meetings for me to present the information related to this election to your groups, please contact me via email-tomm@ci.hurst.tx.us  or 817-788-7375.  I also have pamphlets that provide Crime Control District facts and information that I can bring by for you to distribute to your groups.

    If you have a few items lying and would be willing to donate them to the association, please drop the items off at my house the week before the sale.  All proceeds will go to support continued improvements to the neighborhood appearance.
